Bots and automation tools for use with the YouTube website:
Tube Toolbox
A new, simple software that works great in automating many every day YouTube marketer tasks (a must have bot for marketing on YouTube). Bot tasks include:
- Target YouTube Users (similar videos)
- Send Friend Requests
- Automatic Subscribe to friends
TellyAdder (Cancelled – No Longer Available)
This was one of the first YouTube bots from the creators of Adder Robot. It features:
- Automated Friend Requesting
- Automated Commenting
- Automated Messaging
- Google Extraction
- And Log Files
With this bot, you can gather user ids on any video page and send them all friend requests. After users become your friends, you can use the automated messaging feature to send them messages. When using a bot to comment on other videos, the best way to get traffic is suggesting a search phrase to find your video with an irresistible plug, such as:
Want to see something extremely scary? Search on “sea monster from deep.” Hope it never happens to you!
You could also post a web address with similar tactics. You can download the demo from the website here and the single license is $39.95. Be careful when using the software though, it’s possible YouTube might not only delete your account(s), but also sue you for spamming. Using the commenting method above can still be very effective without bots as long as you target your audience.
Tubeinator (Cancelled – No Longer Available)
This is one of the newer YouTube bots that has emerged. Their website, here, seems to have a lot more sales pitches to it, but it does include a time delay feature I didn’t see on TellyAdder. The Time delay feature allows for a random delay between your actions, therefore mimicking the actions of a real user and providing an extra level of stealth, depending on the detection methods YouTube is/will be using to eliminate the usage of these bots. Once again, there’s a free demo available on the website. If you’re planning on using the software, always use a demo, but remember, bots can get you and your company into trouble.
MassBots (Cancelled – No Longer Available)
Also, Massbots seem to have launched one themselves too. Their bot includes an invite to subscribe feature, something that could be pretty useful. They are also somewhat cheaper than the above companies (about ten dollars). Same goes though for this one, just be careful.
